The Weekly Report
March 30, 2008
Members & Initiates
Spring break is over, and we are on the downhill to finals. Amidst all your intense studying, don’t forget about the upcoming Beta Alpha Psi events. Nominations are due by Wednesday. We are still looking for nominations for multiple officer positions. If you think someone is qualified, then make sure you nominate them formally. Send all nominations to pbarackman@mail.unomaha.edu.
We don’t have a meeting this Friday, so everyone enjoy the night off. However, the following week there are multiple events. We will be holding elections on Friday, April 11 in the MBSC Dodge Room. Attendance is important; we are choosing our future leadership.
We will be hosting a community service event on Saturday, April 12th. Everyone should be at Elmwood Park by 10:00 AM to clean up the area. The community service will go until 12:30 then we will be having a BBQ. This is a great chance to meet your community service obligations, and get some free food. The 201 tutoring session will be the following evening (Sunday, April 13) in Room 201 of Roskens Hall. Anyone available should attend; the 201 students typically have lots of questions.
Missouri Valley Regional Meeting
The regional meeting is coming up next weekend (April 4-5). Our chapter is sending a group to present this year, and we wish them the best of luck. The presentation is fantastic, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha will be well represented.
Announcements
No BAP responsibilities this Friday. Enjoy your weekend.
Have a good week,
