Members & Candidates

As everyone knows, school is picking up and the first round of tests is here. It is important that we devote a proper amount of time to our academic obligations. There are also many exciting things coming up with BAP.

Bill Conley will be our guest speaker on Friday. He will be discussing his business and community experience and the important role it has played in his personal and professional development. Bill is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Business and was recently name Vice Chancellor of Business and Finance.

Community service is a very important part of our professional development. As you will see, community service will be just as important in your professional careers as it is during your academic careers.

Additionally, we will be electing a new Treasurer after the meeting on Friday. If you were nominated on the website, please contact Carley to accept or decline your nomination. Although everyone is allowed to attend the election, only members are allowed to vote.

Dress code is Business Casual for Friday’s meeting.

Members & Candidates

Thanks for making Meet the Firms Night a great success. We had 96.4% total attendance. The officers of BAP hope that everyone had an opportunity to talk with all the firms and make contacts for upcoming interviews. Remember what you learned from the Seim Johnson meeting – handshake with three shakes, etc.

This Friday we will be traveling to Lincoln to meet with PricewaterhouseCoopers. We will be meeting on the Scott campus – parking lot 2, at 5:15 pm. We are leaving promptly at 5:30 pm for Lincoln. We are not assigning who is riding with whom, but we do ask that everyone would meet so we can carpool.

Dress code is business casual for this Friday’s meeting.
